A52 Revival of 50's Athenian Apartment

An apartment in Thisio, steps from the Acropolis, built in the 1950s and carrying every decade of it — in the best possible way. The building itself is considered of architectural value, a reminder of mid-century Athenian residential design at its most honest. The owner wanted to transform it into a short-term rental without erasing its character.

We visited, took stock of what was already there, and made a deliberate choice: keep as much as possible. The original furniture, the proportions, the patina — these were the project's real assets. Our interventions were minimal and precise.
